When we last left off in our lengthier, better accented international Survivor, Colin & Jenny were pretty down (under) on the result of Season 1's final tribal council. But, with 13 episodes of Season 2 already on the barbie, we are back on board with Australian Survivor. We're here to recap all the new characters, game mechanics, and incredible accents of Season 2. Plus we predict where we think the season goes from here.
Sometimes Des doesn't like Kat. And sometimes Colin & Jenny don't like how a season of Reality Television turns out. No, we weren't thrilled with the winner of Australian Survivor and we also didn't love the last ten or so episodes. But, we still had a lot of fun recording our last recap of the season.
âIf you disagree, let us know. We're happy to discuss things further in the comments or on Twitter. Check it out!
For the first time in Reality TV Hangover history, Colin & Jenny open the podcast's doors to a guest, longtime friend, listener and Survivor fan: Brendan Sangster! With his help, we dive into the latest 7 episodes of Australian Survivor. With 6 eliminations (and only one fake tribal council this time) there was a lot to cover. Plus we needed lots of room for our terrible Aussie accents! Note: there is a brief update on Survivor Millennials vs Gen. X at the end of the podcast, so tap out for that if you haven't watched through episode 2 yet.
In our first coverage of Australian Survivor, we pick favourites from the cast, run through the biggest moments, give predictions for what's to come and even do a miniature winner draft. This recap covers the first ten episodes, but by the time it comes out there will probably be at least 40 more hours of Australian Survivor, with an additional 20 castaways and zero tribal councils. Mateship!
